GORE-TEX SURROUND® technology offers unrivaled versatility – ECCO and Lowa increase their collections, adidas launches first product range
The success story for W.L. Gore & Associates (Gore) continues as leading brands like ECCO and Lowa increase their product portfolio featuring the GORE-TEX® SURROUND® technology. Adidas launches its first collections equipped with the all-round breathable technology.
Globally, more than 52 footwear labels use the innovative product solution to make durably waterproof shoes that offer all-round breathability. In addition, Camel Active, Caterpillar, Haglöfs, Merrell, The North Face and Under Amour will start to offer GORE-TEX® SURROUND® styles to retailers and consumers in Spring/Summer 2017.
Providing waterproofness and all-round breathability, the GORE-TEX® SURROUND® product technology has already been successfully adopted by footwear brands ECCO and Lowa in their men’s and women’s casual collections. In Spring/Summer 2017, the Scandinavian manufacturer will expand its ECCO COOL product offering “BIOM” to include new climate comfort experiences for hiking and multifunctional end-uses, as well as for golf shoes and kids footwear. Lowa, already successful with its casual footwear collection, is set to hit the market in Spring/Summer 2017 with a range of GORE-TEX® SURROUND® hiking shoes.
