Spanish Alpinist Edurne Pasabán on the “Adventurer of the Year 2010” nominees listNational Geographic Magazine has been awarding its “Adventurer of the Year” title for the past six years.  The Magazine casts a wide net to find the “Adventurers of the Year”, each selected for his or her extraordinary achievement in exploration, conservation, and adventure sports.

This year Spanish mountaineer Edurne Pasabán is among the ten nominees. She is the first woman to climb all 14 of the world’s fourteen 8000 meter peaks.
