GORE-TEX Transalpine Run 2012: register now and take on the Alps for a running experience of a lifetime

The GORE-TEX Transalpine-Run is set to take place for the eighth consecutive year from 1 to 8 September 2012. Five hundred runners from over 25 countries will take up the challenge of running over the Alps. During the eight days of the race the participants cover about 320 km and tackle 15,000 m of elevation gain. The course runs from Ruhpolding in Bavaria/Germany to Sexten in South Tyrol, the northernmost region in Italy. The number of runners is limited to 250 teams of two.
