GORE-TEX Experience Tour nominated for PR Report Awards 2012 in two different categories
For the tenth year running German magazine PR Report recognises the most successful people and projects in the PR industry in the German-speaking world at a gala dinner and awards ceremony. A total of 54 finalists are competing for the 22 awards. The finalists and winners have been selected by an independent jury consisting of 24 communications experts. This year the finalists include: the “GORE-TEX EXPERIENCE TOUR”. The Experience Tour has been nominated by the jury for the PR Report Awards 2012 in the categories “International PR” and “Community Communications”.
“We are extremely pleased to announce these nominations. They are a measure of the success of our Experience Tour projects. We can’t wait to hear the jury’s final decision,” says Doris Niedernolte, Project Champion of the GORE-TEX EXPERIENCE TOUR. The award ceremony will take place at a glittering anniversary gala dinner on 19 April in Berlin.

The GORE-TEX Experience Tour started with its first projects in autumn 2010 and has set itself an ambitious goal: to bring young outdoor enthusiasts together with experts and top athletes. In addition to this the GORE-TEX brand has mobilised outdoor specialists from all over Europe to share their experience and passion within the framework of the individual projects.
There are all kinds of different projects. They range from alpine expeditions to urban adventures. This range of sporting activities is complemented by occupations that are indirectly related to the theme of sport such as outdoor photography or the making of TV documentaries. Outdoor enthusiasts from across Europe can apply for the individual projects on Facebook.
