At the OutDoor 2014 trade fair in Friedrichshafen W. L. Gore & Associates will be showcasing its latest innovation in the outdoor footwear market. The GORE-TEX SURROUND™ product technology can already count 24 prestigious outdoor brands among its partners and hiking enthusiasts can choose from around 180 different models.
Alfa, Bestard, Chiruca, Crispi, Dolomite, Hanwag, La Sportiva, Mammut, Meindl, Salewa, Scarpa, Treksta and Zamberlan are just some of the leading international outdoor footwear manufacturers that are equipping their new collections in Europe with the award winning GORE-TEX SURROUND™ product technology. Suppliers in the US and Asia that have followed suit include Black Yak, K2, Kolon Sports, Eider, Bean Pole, Lafuma (Korea), Millet (Korea), Ozark and Mizuno.
From spring 2015 consumers will be able to benefit from the world’s first technology for durably waterproof hiking boots with all-round breathability along with a fantastic range of models.

Anyone planning a relaxed lowland tour can choose from a selection of low-cut models in a bright, sporty look, while high-performance mid-cut hiking boots are perfect for day hikes with family and friends in the uplands.
